Can't find Work
Hello All,
I am new to Minority Nurse, and I am an Africian American Registered Nurse, from Chicago Illinois. I am finding out that I may be black balled, due to I am having a difficult time finding work, and when I do, I am either being set up to be terminated, or conditions are so bad in an institution, that I am faced with quitting, or management is not willing to do anything regarding unprofessional behavior of others, and problems persists. I am a good nurse, prior military, and have an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force.I have tried the Veteran's benefit offices that are suppose to help, but they are not helping. I don't know know what happen, but have not had anything against my licenses. Seems I cant find a lawyer to help me, and now, can't afford one. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and a Dual Master's in Health Service Management/ Human Resources and Development. I have been out of work for 2 and a half years, illegally terminated from my last job, and I cant seem to get any help. With little money, I have no recourse, and facing many monetary challenges. Has this happened to any one you know, and can anyone help?
