The Hospital of Saint Raphael
The Hospital of Saint Raphael is a 511-bed academic health science center affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine. It’s been more than 100 years since our founding by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth (who continue as our sponsors), and the hospital is now part of the Saint Raphael Healthcare System, an integrated delivery system offering a comprehensive array of services dedicated to the health and well-being of residents of Greater New Haven and beyond.
In an environment of educational excellence and professional growth, our Nurses play an integral role in providing care that is on the leading edge of healthcare. With this in mind, we are committed to presenting our Nurses with the tools they need to succeed as well as offering flexibility to fit their lives.
We offer our Nurses:
• An active Staff Development Department
• Clinical career ladders
• Annual monetary awards for specialty certification
• Shared governance
• Nursing Management Council with staff nurse representation from every unit
It's no wonder Saint Raphael's has received regional and national recognition for the quality of its clinical programs and safety of its care, which could not have been accomplished without the exceptional team we have assembled. Yet at heart, we are all caring people – just like you, whatever your background or area of expertise may be. We are inspired each day when we walk through our doors, and we hope you will be too.
Opportunities exist in the following areas:
• Emergency Department
• Med/Surg
• Critical Care
