Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in Nursing and Assistant Director of CRNA

The School of Nursing welcomes qualified applicants who are certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA) doctorally prepared and who have teaching and/or administrative experience in a CRNA program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will actively assist and support the program director with achieving initial accreditation of the CRNA program, the organization and administration of the entire CRNA program, and admitting the first class of students.
The assistant program director must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to assume the responsibilities of the program administrator, if required, and coordinate programmatic activities consistent with University policies and state and national accreditation standards.
The assistant program director will report to the program director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates must have an earned doctorate, a minimum of three years of experience in teaching in a CRNA program, and a minimum of three years of practice as a CRNA. Either the master’s or doctorate degree should be in nursing.
Appointment for assistant or associate professor in a clinical non-tenure track will commensurate with qualifications and experience appropriate for rank. Tenure-track appointment may be negotiated.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Administrative experience will enhance the applicant’s success.
