The Associate Chair-BSN/MSN for online education would be responsible for the leadership, design, implementation and management of all aspects of the BSN/MSN program online. This person will manage a team of online faculty and be in charge of developing programs and curriculum for this newly developed program. The Associate Chair will also be in charge of teaching 12 credits per year and as well as participating in evaluating faculty skills and dealing will student evaluations.
The desired candidate for this position will have 3 to 5 years of higher ed teaching experience paired with 5 years of experience in the professional field. To qualify for this exceptional employment opportunity, applicants must have a master degree in nursing, doctorate degree preferred along with the knowledge of the accreditation process and knowing how to develop courses from the ground up in an in seat format as well as online. This position would need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication, and presentation skills are as this person will collaborate with all departments throughout the University.
