Owens Community College is hiring full-time and part-time positions in the new School of Nursing for Fall Semester 2010.
Full-time Clinical Teaching Associates are nine-month contractual positions with full benefits on the Toledo and Findlay campuses. In this role, the Clinical Teaching Associate will teach Nursing clinical and Nursing laboratory sections and work at the direction of the full-time Nursing faculty. The School of Nursing is also hiring part-time Clinical Teaching Assistants and Nursing Laboratory Instructors. The Clinical Teaching Assistant works at the direction of the full-time Nursing faculty and is responsible for teaching and evaluating student experiences in the Clinical area. The Nursing Laboratory Instructor works with students in the on-campus Nursing lab and teaches and evaluates Nursing Students skills at the direction of the full-time Nursing faculty.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree with a major in Nursing required for both full-time and part-time positions. Certification in a nursing practice specialty preferred. Two years of recent (within the past three years) clinical Registered Nursing experience required. Clinical teaching experience preferred. Applicant must hold a valid, current and unencumbered Registered Nursing License in the State of Ohio.
Salary
$40,000 – FT Clinical Teaching Associates (9 month contract)
$42/hr – PT Clinical Instructors
$25/hr – PT Nursing Laboratory Instructors
