The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Nursing faculty invites applications for two tenure-line positions in nursing. Faculty members will have primary responsibility for theoretical nursing content in the classroom and clinical teaching. Other opportunities include teaching university students within the health curriculum.
Illinois Wesleyan is a nationally ranked, small, private, undergraduate liberal arts university with highly selective admission criteria and a tradition of teaching excellence. QUALIFICATIONS
Expertise sought in one of more of the following areas: psychiatric-mental health; pediatrics; physical assessment; fundamentals; medical-surgical; leadership; nursing research. A master’s degree in nursing, and an earned doctorate completed by August 2012 is required. A commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching is essential.
ACADEMIC RANK/SALARY
Candidates at all ranks will be considered.
