Austin Peay State University is located in Clarksville Tennessee on a 169 acre urban campus with a student population of 10,000. Clarksville is 45 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee and 12 miles from Fort Campbell Army Post which is home to the 101st Airborne Division. Austin Peay is a four year public, master level university offering over 56 majors and 63 different concentrations.

School of Nursing
The School of Nursing is housed in a state-of-the-art technology building that includes smart classrooms and five simulation labs- virtual hospital lab, adult health lab, critical care lab, maternal child lab, and assessment lab. The program offers a BSN, MSN, online RN/BSN program, and AMEDD program. Our Chair of Excellence holder is a mentor and resource person for grant writing, research, and publications. The School of Nursing has a full-time advisor for pre-nursing students which allows faculty more time for academics. The national annual NCLEX pass rate for 2009 was 98.88. Nominations and applications are invited for these tenure-track positions to begin August 2010. These positions are at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Nursing depending on credentials and experience. The rank of Associate Professor requires a doctoral degree

Required Qualifications:
Minimal requirement is Masters in Nursing with major in medical-surgical clinical area; Doctorate in nursing or related field preferred.
