How to find a good CRNA program
Fri, 03/26/2010 - 10:38pm — learnofjoyYou're on the right track! CTICU is a great place to get experience if you want to be a CRNA. I recommend getting CCRN certification before you apply - most schools don't require it, but it will make you look really good and makes you a more competitive candidate.
And even though most schools only require 1 year ICU, the average applicant has at least 2-3 years experience, so you may want to have at least that much before you apply.
When you take the GRE (it's required by more than 90% of programs), make sure you get combined score of 1000 or better.
