Paediatric Nutrition in the developing world
Hello there, this has been a great concern especially among the developing countries specifically children under five. Several programs have been put in place and interventions done but the number of those still going hungry within the age group remains high.
Very little has however been done for the school going age meaning that whoever skips hunger scourge as an under five will definitely fall a victim of the substandard meals that the schools are able to offer....i hate to give statistics of the malnutrition projection for the countries that are a victim of this...
The impact that this will have on not just the academic quality, but also other disciplines like the socio-economic status of the populations there in the next quarter a century or so...
Are there any people out there with interest in pediatric nutrition as I am? What do you think is the way forward to reversing the disaster that awaits...?
