Response to I Want To Be A CRNA/Lena Gould, CRNA, MSN
Hello My Future Colleague,
I am glad that you were able to reach out to me via email and was able to specifically answer your pressing concern in gaining an ICU Nurse position. To all nurses who have not secured a critical care nurse position, please inform the nurse manager of the unit identified (CICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, or NICU (Neuro)) that you are very much interested in applying for a full time position. If you know any colleague that works on that particular unit, inquire of any vacancies and apply immediately. You must be persistent and it may also mean applying to other hospitals in your immediate area or elsewhere.
